So much accomplished this week!

This was a MONSTER week for me as far as getting stuff done. I spent most of my week advertising the new Income Accelerator program. I got started with Yahoo UK and set some ads up. I have to still wait and see if my PPC ads will be approved because it is technically an affiliate site. I hope it does get approved so I can start getting some targeted visitors. It seems like an awesome program to me and it pays $100 per referral. But you have to start with a little money and sign up for the hosting. Fact is everyone on traffic exchanges want to make all kinds of money and pay nothing. It doesn't work that way from what I have found. So I will keep looking for new advertising and hopefully start to generate quality traffic. I signed up for a trial run at BuyCheapHits.com - 10,000 hits for $12.50 - Pretty good deal and most of my new site traffic is from that. I also signed up with I-web-marketing.com for a traffic package. $99 was the minimum but that's for 50,000 visitors. So far they are sending about 120/day. What I'm GUESSING is that means they are real visitors (vs. the PopUnders). I also bought a starter pack at ViralAdwords - They promise targeted visitors and the NetSuccess owner said he gets VERY good results with them. I also bought 12 keywords at ExactSeek - $70 for 3 months running my ads. I have already had about 50 hits this week from those. I'd say that is "fairly" targeted traffic. Probably not quite PPC quality, but $12/keyword for 3 months advertising is a great deal.

Finally got some new programs up that I wanted to work on! I made my first official Squeeze Page! See it here - Now, don't laugh, because it is a bit rough - The fonts are not quite up to my high standards LOL - Actually, it's a great deal - I chose the Guide to Using & Understanding Traffic Exchanges ebook as my free giveaway. This seems like a perfect giveaway since 80% of my advertising is on exchange traffic right now. All you do is fill in your email & name and you get to download it instantly. I give it away free and what I get is an email address to start building my lists (Another thing I've been wanting to work on for awhile). Also, when they download it, there is a link offered to Instant Squeeze Pages where at least a few might join - So I get emails to build my list and at least a possibility of getting a referral to Instant Squeeze Pages. There is a LOT more to work on here. They have a lot of ebooks that come with "backend" advertising - So anyone who signs up through my pages and buys other products later, all count towards my affiliate revenue. I think this program is awesome.

I also got my other new site up this week - MakinEZMoney.com - Basically it was a cut & paste site for Get Google Ads Free - I think this is a cool program and the commission structure is very nice - 75% of the $67/sale. Plus the product is awesome. Anyone who has searched PPC prices obviously knows how expensive they are - If you can get them free, $67 is NOTHING in comparison. NOTE HERE: I have not bought the program yet - I am going to buy it this week so I can provide the best possible review. I try to keep it real and not just link a ton of my affiliate links. My Purchase of Aweber -
The autoresponder is $20/month which seems high to me. But I found some of the "cheaper" ones and they are just too hard to figure out. I bought the Ultimate AutoResponder for $4.97 - 1 time fee - AWESOME I'm thinking. Of course it comes with a 16 page manual and 8 different download links. I tried to read through but man, that's too much work for me. I can write and I can copy & paste, but my Web Skills are limited at best. I looked into a couple others also and they were $12-$16/month anyway, so I decided to go with Aweber. It is really easy to use and I might become an affiliate there also. You get unlimited autoresponders which is crucial for me. I'm going to be using it in at least 3 places just to start. But I'm going to need it for each and every squeeze page that I generate also. When you start needing something THAT much, it's best to just pay the $20/month and get the best one - AWeber is the best one -

So as you can see, I got a whole lot done this week. Also joined TrafficDigger & a few other exchanges. Had to surf a lot of sites this week since I now have SO many programs up & running. But things are starting to go really well I think. I'm getting a steady 200-300 hits daily for Affiliate Curve. Starting to get signups for exchanges and find even more advertising sources. Overall I think I'm on the right path. I do wish the money would just roll in, but I know it's not that easy :)

I also submitted some more articles and joined another new program last night. Looks like a good one and as soon as I figure out what it is, I'll let you all know.

So much going on this week!

The new website is up and I'm pretty happy with it so far. It's giving me a good amout of space to work with. I have all my traffic exchange reviews and cheap advertising options up with my own reviews. I hope you check it out and I hope you like it. it's finally up!

Finally got the website up last night. What a first day - Already having counter issues. I installed the Google Analytics code last night and now I don't see it on my Control hosting panel. I emailed yahoo for support and hopefully they will help me - They really are awesome, and the only problem i've ever had there is the site statistics - But Google's Analytics really rock - it shows me EVERYTHING...so it is a MUST have for real stats on how I'm doing.

I do know that I got about 30 hits today JUST from "organic" traffic - which is really impressive. It basically means my site is generating traffic off normal search engines, and not just traffic exchanges. I think this is going to be huge, for me - It's important to get as much traffic as possible, but regular search engine traffic is going to be higher quality overall...

I don't mean to not update my blog more regularly - I've been extremely focused on getting the website up and organized the best that I can. I'm thinking about a "FLASH" page where I list nothing but get-rich-quick stuff - Hell, who knows - Sign up for 20 and even 1 works, then maybe that's worth it - Better for you if I waste my time on it and it least my AVOID section will grow :)

Just been spending this week updating sites for traffic tornado, getting my Viral rotator programs listed - When I launch the website I'm going to REALLY start heavy advertising - And when I do I want you all to see a well organized list of EASY TO USE resources...I'm finding them everyday - I just want to come out with a good product - not just get it up for the sake of having it published - that's all for now - check out the traffic tornado - really if you want to get your site listed on a LOT of exchanges, or if your focus is to build referrals...this is a good system for doing both - Already 4 downline members and i just signed up 2 days ago! so it's already working - beyond that I have like 3 referrals at the exchanges listed - so the effects go on and on....it's totally free - just takes some time

You enter your own affiliate ID's for each program, then promote just 1 site. This is a really great idea and should build you a SERIOUS downline quickly. Instant Squeeze Page Generator - I signed up for this and it's really, REALLY cool. It makes me feel like a pro - With this program you generate your own "squeeze pages" - You pick a template, pick the giveaway, insert the script (gotta have a program for this, but they have a free one you can use) and off you go - It's an incredibly professional looking piece of work - You can do it free, but you can get 50% off the pro fee if you sign up for $47 (otherwise it's $99!) - I don't know if you (or me!) are really ready for what this program does, but I know I will be soon and I want it in my affiliate arsenal - Remember list building is something in the back of my mind and this is going to be a great product for doing that - Plus, Instant Squeeze Page Generator also turns into another Affiliate Opportunity for you to promote - With very nice commissions - check it out and judge for yourself. I think it's a great program!

Week 2 in review

Well I found a couple more great traffic generating programs. My website is ALMOST ready to go. I just need to optimize and tweak it a bit. Got tons of hits from LinkReferral, TrafficSwarm, EasyHits & 4x4hits. All these are great. I think it should do even better once the site is up.

Have mixed reviews about Adland Pro PPC ads - They are extremely inexpensive and I got a TON of hits, but very few conversions. Like ZERO for NetSuccess which is a really incredibly program (in my opinion) but I did get 5 sales for Affiliate Junktion. Out of 1,700 hits though, I'm thinking this isn't a highly targeted advertising source. My intention is to still purchase the PPC ads (I haven't found anything cheaper!) but to hopefully get some keywords that aren't so "generalized" if you will - My thought process is that out of 70,000+ users at Adland, at least some of them must be seriously looking into programs. So I'm going to try to buy keywords that generate a lot less traffic, but the traffic will hopefully be more targeted. It's a little discouraging to see 1,700 hits and only $10 in commissions - I paid $40 for the ads :)

But it's all about learning right now - and that's what I'm doing. The great thing about Adland Pro is that you can check the CTR% - so certain keywords don't have a TON of traffic, but the click through % is pretty good - like 2-5% (high in this case). So perhaps I just need to find the RIGHT ones here and get less clicks, but more signups - I'll let you know how that goes (unless I find the magic keyword - just kidding :)

Also got aNOTHER new program offer from Get Google Ads free - so that needs to be done cause it looks great -

So as you can see i have just a TON on my plate - but so far I'm also getting a lot done...even in an hour or 2 per day....I think i'm doing alright - but the deeper I get, the larger the puddle is - or something like that - basically I do one thing and it just leads into something else - It's a VAST world for online marketers....

want 1 million hits to YOUR site, FREE?

I just found another free advertising source that delivers real viral marketing at it's best. Here is the entire scoop - Click 6 links and write down a confirmation no. - Then you just list your site address and off you go! Now can I tell you the traffic is targeted buyers? No, I just signed up and I'm not sure. But for 5 min's of your time, your site will get clicked THOUSANDS of times. If you've got a really good program (more free traffic, for instance) then I'm sure you will get even more referrals through it. Think about it - You saw this link through me - You are an online marketer looking for easy & free traffic sources. You are signing up for this EXACT demographic. Really, no advertising delivers guaranteed conversions. But guaranteed traffic is a heck of a start on something you can sign up for FREE!

why I don't use Google AdSense

I've had a few comments about why I don't use AdSense on my blog. I've read about some programs that advise you to set up literally HUNDREDS of sites, just to have AdSense on there and generate pennies a day. I don't have them on my blog and I'm pretty sure I won't have them on my site....here's why - I'm in affiliate marketing right now. I'm promoting products and giving reviews about my programs. My reviews are honest and I'm trying to provide a real framework and starting point for new people to succeed in - but what does AdSense really do? It takes people AWAY from my site! Why would I want to make a few pennies in AdSense, when I can make exchange referrals and affiliate commissions right here? See how that doesn't make any sense? Your providing a site and generating traffic for yourself - If that traffic, which we all know is our lifeblood, goes to another site, we just spent all our time (and often money) so that someone else (the AdSense buyer) can make the sale. Now I know that a lot of people will swear by AdSense - I'm not here to tell people what to put on their site - Shoot, I'm no expert. I'm just saying that for me, I want my visitors here...I'm the one doing all the work to generate traffic -

just a thought from a newbie - Google AdSense is widely used, especially by bloggers - I just don't think it makes much sense from an affiliate marketing standpoint...so that's why I don't do it....

been WORKING like crazy

I have really been working hard on my site this week. It's a lot of information, even as a total newcomer, and getting it all in there is serious work...Not to mention actually trying to organize it. I think i'm blinding myself on the color choices right now though - I'm going to have to go surf a bunch of sites and get some ideas for layout and color schemes...I can't even decide the right font right now -

Remember when I recommended AdLandPro's advertising system? For $9.95/month you get your ad rotated to the top every single hour - Also, they had Site Submission services for $15 to 80k search engines. I know it works because I got this site listed on MSN & YAHOO in less than 2 weeks! I still haven't been able to get my 1st site, BadLuckHandicapper, listed on MSN - SO, These services are a remarkable deal and this is SUPER inexpensive advertising -

Well today I found their PayPerClick (PPC) ad's and this might be the best deal online. Instead of paying 25c - 35cents per click, you can get PPC ads here for 1-3cents each! For TopNotch search words! Online business = 3cents per click! Work at home = 3cents per click! You can get as little as $10 worth of PPC clicks! Think about it like this - you can get 33 people to click YOUR ad for $1! $10 will get you 333 clicks! If people are clicking that means you probably have at least a Shot at them signing up for your program and at 33 clicks per $1, I can't think of a more cost effective advertising method.

Highly recommended traffic exchange

4x4 hits has just under 4,000 members right now but I think they will be growing a LOT over the next several months. The site is friendly and fun - Accounts are free and the timers are only 10 seconds! You can build up credits FAST here. With only 4,000 members this seems like a really good way to get your site seen more often. I can't say with Authority, but it just makes sense to me that with fewer members it's more of an "untouched" exchange...Maybe I'm wrong (I am pretty new) but we'll see. The characters are fun and the navigation is great - They don't spam the heck out of you and the sites are different (lots of traffic building programs for free) The referral program looks to have really excellent rewards. I highly recommend it.

New Program that looks great!

I realize that the casual surfer is looking for a program with some flash. I think I found one that suits that need. Here is the quick analysis of the program:

Affiliate Power Ads If you have a website focused on online business or internet marketing, forget Google Adsense and try Affiliate Power Ads as a much higher paying alternative. All clicks on power ads also open in a new window, so visitors stay at your site. A no brainer.

I signed up tonight and placed an add on the right hand side (at the top). As of RIGHT now, I like the idea of referring other affiliates. This is a program that is free right now, but they may start charging (that is what everyone says, of course - but as a company's demand grows, prices often grow also). This is an easy banner/text link to put in your site - The products look good and the affiliate commissions are pretty high - 65% high in some cases. It's free to join and you choose the products to promote.

1st week in review

I think this has been a very successful first week at Affiliate Curve. I have gotten a LOT more done than I thought I could - I got a lot of programs for NetSuccess off the ground. I found some really great tools like Google Analytics. I found some inexpensive advertising. Overall I think we did well. We got 318 hits from JUST LinkReferral alone, in 1 week! That is a really good amount of traffic for $35/month. I found another excellent traffic exchange at EasyHits4U and I updated GoodLife4All.biz. Tonight I found Affiliate Power Ads which looks really solid. I think overall this was a very productive week - I believe if your new to the game like me, I already have provided some really excellent resources...Especially if your just starting out!

So, goals for this week. I did some work on a website design last night. It's coming together nicely and it's going to give me a lot more space to work with. I love the blog, I just think I need to have things more organized so everyone can find stuff quicker. Nobody wants to scroll down to the bottom, even though the real gold is there (I'm only playing, i'm not an egomaniac.....yet! LOL) Ug, back to goals!

Work on new web design and hopefully be "up" in a week.
More research so I can review the NetSuccess programs - they just added Matrix and it's awesome, but I need some time to review it before I go blasting it on here.
Get some traffic credits! I'm running low and I need to advertise
Find at least 1 more good, inexpensive advertising source - we need traffic!

quick update and thought

Wanted to let everyone know that Google Analytics are really great! It shows me how many hits, where they are from and how long the visitor stays on the site. If you don't want to spend money analyzing your stats, this is a really nice tool. I already added it to GoodLife4All.biz and BadLuckHandicapper - so I highly recommend

What it is showing me is that the average visitor visits for 42seconds - Now is this what we are looking for? Hell no! that isn't even time to read the header let alone an article or see what we're doing. This leads me into my thought and the problem with Exchanges - The avg. surfer on exchanges is looking for Pop & Glamour and the Big Red Button (I love to quote myself) - so what do we do? Add pop? Obviously we need to catch peoples attention fast. However, at the stage I am in, I am not interested in pop and flash. I am interested in organizing my thoughts and coming up with good tools that will really help people - I may come to realize in another month I better just "fall in line" and get a bunch of glitz on here LOL, but in the meantime I think we have to build up a solid reputation. What I found in my stats is I have a lot of 20 second pops and a few 5-6minute viewers. Those are the ones I want. I want people who are actually looking for something they can USE! Not to say I don't want everyone on my site - I do - but I'm not going to be discouraged by pop-ins - I understand how it works - Their is so much glitz on traffic exchanges it's easy to get into Zombie mode and just look for your instant riches...I'm not doing that right now and I hope it doesn't bother you too much - Some of my LinkReferral reviews are all about "how do you make your money!!!!" & "what are you selling!!!" - What I'm trying to do is build up a group of people that come back everyday and follow my progress. People who are in the same exact spot I'm in - trying to sort out all this information - I am not looking to sign you up for every affiliate program I'm in. Of course that would be awesome, but I don't think real marketing works that way. I want to build a network of people that will come here for GOOD, solid advice and resources. I would much rather have 10 people who FW my site to a good friend than 1,000 hits of people looking for that Big Red Button. Or maybe i'm just too damn idealistic :)

Last night I was reading 13 deadly sins of traffic exchanges. The ebook fit me to a tee! Sign up for a few traffic exchanges, post a couple links, join a couple of affiliate programs and BAM! the money just pours on in! Well all of a sudden 2 weeks later your in the same spot, not getting anything done and you start grumbling about how traffic exchanges don't work. The point of this isn't about traffic exchanges though - it's about our expectations. That book had a nice list of things for me to start working on - list building, splash pages, etc - but the part that hit home was this idea of the Big Red Button. The Big Red Button is basically what we're all looking for when we first find online money making programs. Somehow we are just going to find that magic key, set up a link or 2 and 3 weeks later we're suddenly living the high life.

Things don't work that way. You (& I for that matter) need to realize that this isn't going to happen overnight. It takes time, dedication and work. We can't just quit because we can't retire after 3 weeks of showing our new affiliate program on 2 exchanges. So just remember this is going to take time, and don't get flustered. Simple and short, but I know when I found LinkReferral that was my sudden dream for BadLuckHandicapper. Luckily I'm smarter than that and I bumped into a few articles about patience and seeing the big picture.

Accomplishments tonight - Got some surfing done for credits and edited the GoodLife4All.biz site - Changed some color schemes, font sizes and added my Ezine Expert Author logo (i can't help it, I'm proud!). So hopefully that will attract a fair amount of interest and I can start generating some commissions.

Another thing about traffic exchanges. Some of these people kill me - I've had a fairly high number of low ratings, but the funny thing is that 95% of the people rating me low have sites that take ZERO effort. They don't offer anything but a cut & paste affiliate program that takes 2 min's to put together. I'm fairly bugged by it because when I get a low score from someone with 1 or 2 reviews, I know they are just doing it to get the daily credit. They most likely clicked my site link, and clicked right back out w/out reading a thing. 1 person actually said I should offer some free stuff. I laughed because every program listed on here has a free option - things like this are frustrating but you have to blow it off. The important thing for me is that the reviewers who are actually at LinkReferral for the long haul, are giving me very fair reviews. They are the only ones who matter - I get a chance to see their good products and hopefully they find something semi-useful to them here. Another great thing is the networking possibilities at LR - anyway, this is getting very long now. I'm going to work on my new site this weekend so maybe we can get more organized and cleaned up around here! Happy Marketing!
